Despite its size, the kiln operates from a standard 13 amp household socket, eliminating the need for specialist electrical installation and making professional firing more accessible.

The kiln reaches a maximum temperature of 1200°C, making it suitable for firing earthenware, stoneware, and porcelain. Its triple-layer insulation system, incorporating lightweight insulation bricks, high-density non-ceramic fibre, and micropore materials, ensures excellent heat retention, improved thermal efficiency, and lower running costs. A double-layer insulated floor further reduces heat loss and supports consistent firing results.

Safety is central to the Ikon V61E’s design. The kiln features dual circuit safety systems and overfire protection, providing peace of mind during every firing cycle.
